Whe...Oh - I LOVE that picture of Mia with the dog. When we were young my brother got a dog, who loved me more from the minute we met. She was my dog and never would leave my side and we would snuggle just like that ... and that is in my top three of best childhood memories. There is nothing like the love of a good dog - even one who gets distracted.NOLAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572754078356812922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909148405345235236.post-34023537269114812502009-06-05T23:44:52.771-04:002009-06-05T23:44:52.771-04:00Ms. Moon- I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner. ...Ms. Moon- I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner. Planned midwifery, but fell in love with the kids on my peds rotation. I do recall the midnight consult at Walmart had to do with bodily fluids.michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09861251743062824891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909148405345235236.post-87942128675648318992009-06-05T22:32:49.384-04:002009-06-05T22:32:49.384-04:00That is a very cute post. Seems like I remember going to a bakery and a museum one time, and that was on the same day. And my mom always worked, so your outing really seems special to me.

Very funny, too, that the teacher is asking, "What do you think your mother would say about this rash?" God, my teachers were all 100 and thought they knew everything. I can't imagine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909148405345235236.post-16084302547022447352009-06-05T12:43:51.641-04:002009-06-05T12:43:51.641-04:00Chaperoning field trips is one thing I do not miss...Chaperoning field trips is one thing I do not miss about child-rearing.
I am SO glad your dog came home. He would never leave that little girl for long. That is HIS girl.
You're sweet to give medical advice for free. I am a nurse (by law, at least) and when people come up to me and say, "You're a nurse, right?" I cringe. Once my neighbor had me feel her breasts.
