we keep on keepin on

It's a rainy day in Lloyd...
oops... sorry... just wishful thinking I guess

there are actually women with whom I work who have said to me I wanna be you

and I reply are you fucking kidding me? there's no way in HELL you'd wanna be me

Ms. Moon might say the same thing to me...

anyhoo...

this rainy Sunday morning I'm thinking of all the women I know in person and in blogland who
keep on keepin on

through internal and external challenges struggles tragedies we
pick up our crazy hearts and give it one more try

we move through it and keep loving and learning and creating beauty

and then we love some more

oh yes we do

So here at the Beacon Satellite Chapel of the Church of the Batshit Crazy
I'm giving thanks and sending love and prayers to all you bad ass crazy hearted awesome women
who keep on keepin on

You know who you are...

Amen

  4. You're not the only one who wants to live in Lloyd! Mrs Moon should get paid by the Chamber of Commerce for making Lloyd look like such a picturesque town!

  7. I was thinking this evening as I was feeding my chickens some shrimp shells that one of the reasons I love them so much is that they brought us together. I am not kidding you one bit. Somehow you are here, too, Michelle. Is that okay?

  8. Oh my gosh Michelle, this post made me all giddy. First off I was thrilled to see your porch, holy gorgeous, wonderful, happy. Those plants, the gauzy curtains, the pink banister, all these delicious colors. Had me smiling and my heart feeling lighter before I even started reading. Then the Lloyd thing was just so damn funny and took me by surprise. For a minute I was like wait, where am I? I love that. Yes, you're right probably about our wishes to be someone else. I loved this sermon and prayer and help. Beautiful and wise and lovely. Thank you......

  9. This made me laugh and smile and want to get in a big group hug. And I generally am not a group hug kind of girl.

  14. I loved it so much that I sent a link to dear Lulumarie before I even READ it, because I think some of us might have been (really) separated at birth. Really.

Walking on the beach this evening in search of equanimity, I was thinking of you and Ms. Moon and others in this space whose power and marvelousness and bravery - in the Hemingway sense of the word - CONTINUALLY inspire me. Really.
    Love, love, love.

so... wadaya think?

Your fairy is called Columbine Icedancer
She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has icy blue butterfly wings.
