  1. Mmmmmm. I don't really like fairs and yet, now I want to go to one. RIGHT NOW!

  2. I LOVE that ride! And the fair is the only place I eat and like cotton candy or corn dogs. :)

  3. Oh how I miss the state fair! your pictures were awesome and the food is making me drool! lol

  4. Every picture made me smile. I love going to the Fair. It's was an annual event when I was growing up.
    Thanks for sharing!

  5. I love those pictures especially the first one. The rides remind me of being a kid.

  6. Great pictures...haven't been to a state fair in a long time. Your daughter must have a big heart and strong stomach to hug those stinky cows.

  7. I love fairs! And miss them so much. The last one I went to was when I was a child in Canada.
Loved having the memories from seeing your pic´s!

  8. I LOVE the first pic. This looks like such fun.

  9. that fair looks like it ROCKS!! :) soooo jealous :)

  10. The perspective you give the viewer in your pictures is perfect. I like the commentary on the rides. LOL

  11. What is it with kids and cows?

    These are incredible pictures.

  12. I LOVE the fair. I cotton candy smell alone is worth it! Wonderful pictures -- they bring back lots of memories. :)

  13. Cows rule. Seriously. Patient, kind, beautiful eyes, nonjudgmental. And make good burgers.

  14. Missed you at the fair, almost threw up just watching people on that very ride, luckily Finn was just an inch shy of the requisite height. Chickens were awesome weren't they? We've been inspired to get some replacement birds this week.

  15. It's so weird that you and my best friend since age 8 were at the same fair this weekend! Strange? It's a small world after all...

  16. These pics are fantastic-felt like I was on a fun ride myself :)

so... wadaya think?

Your fairy is called Columbine Icedancer
She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has icy blue butterfly wings.
