a parade down Main St
lots of nasty yummy street fair food
a slice of our rough around the edges
Americana-esque city
a little Mayberry... a little Derry

  1. Street fairs are so much fun. They bring back good memories for me.
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love towns like this! so picture perfect:)

  3. A parade!!!! I love parades! Thanks for sharing. It looks like a really fun time.

  4. Oh, we love street festivals...and (especially) the food! :o)

    Great captures!

  5. Henna. My favorite. Lovely pictures. Thank-you for sharing.

  6. I had a step dad who played the bagpipes. He sounded awful! I hope these guys were better because it doesn't get much worse than bad bagpipe music.

  7. Parades are always fun. We have several in this area, especially around 4th of July and Halloween. They never fail to produce good photos.

Love the bagpipes. I have friend who plays them.

  8. What a beautiful day! I like the pics; they're fresh and fun.

so... wadaya think?

Your fairy is called Columbine Icedancer
She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has icy blue butterfly wings.
