Signing out

Signing out for this week.

My house is a PIGSTY
My kids may have SWINE FLU

I'm the most undisciplined person I know
I'm making you all my conscience
when I'm tempted to sit at the computer
I'll hear you all whisper into my ear

Michelle, mop the floor
Michelle, fold the laundry
Michelle, clean out the refrigerator
Michelle, buy more Motrin

What are friends for?

  1. Ugh, Michelle, so sorry the kids are sick. I turn into a neurotic antibacterial wiper when mine are sick, seeking out new places for germs to hide - the remote, cell phones, light switches. I don't usually bother with cleaning, just soup making and surface decontamination.
Hope the kids bounce back quickly and you don't wear yourself out. Take care. And sorry, but I'm the last person who should tell another to get off the internet, but I will remind you about the Motrin!

  2. Okay (she said sadly) but I will miss you so.
But family must come first. Laundry? No. Family. Yes.
    Peace of mind- yes.
    Loving you....M

  3. Totally agree with Ms. Moon here; family first, and unfortunately the kids LIKE to have clean clothes; thinking of you.

  4. Hehehe... I'm no help, I'm ignoring the house while I eat the kids' Halloween candy and read blogs...

    Hope it's not Swine Flu!

  7. Sickness sucks. My daughter was sick on Sunday. Was feeling just fine, then BAM, it hit hard and fast......but in her normal way with things, she woke up about 12 hours later ready to take on the world. Fever free and feeling just fine.

I was worried, really worried during those 12 hours though.

I hope everyone feels better really soon!!

Your fairy is called Columbine Icedancer
She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has icy blue butterfly wings.
