Equal Rights For All...

When they did this
it was illegal
in more than half the states
in this country

they were brave
they were strong

they were spit on

stay brave
stay strong

there's still hope

I couldn't stay away

  1. I am so glad to hear your voice. And you are right. And it's so ridiculous. And it's time for the federal government to step up and do what they did for civil rights.
    That's what I think.

  2. Glad to read you as well. And you are absolutely right, of course. We've had marriage equality in Belgium since 2003 and as far as I know this has not done anything bad to my marriage. (Just checked - no, all fine.) And the apocalypse has not come either. I'm rooting for you, America. You can do it!

  3. What a delicious blog. Love it. May I steal that uber cool "Saying what I mean, doesn't mean that I'm mean" badge? It really rocks.

    So glad I found you,
    K

  4. I'm with you. Equal Rights For All, Not Just For Some! Discrimination is shameful; always has been, always will be.

Your fairy is called Columbine Icedancer
She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has icy blue butterfly wings.
